And so rounding out our visitors for the month (but not for the summer!), were my dear college friend, Andrea, and her husband, Tyler, and just a few days later my sweet friend Katie and her family.
It was a busy week, and our apartment looked like this for a lot of the time, but it was worth it!
Andrea and Tyler arrived on a Thursday night and we immediately treated them to the best local experience in Paris...picnicking in the park. It was a perfect night for it, and we also had a beautiful sunset!
We spent most of the rest of their time here wandering the city (and recovering from
Fete de la Musique). Even though it was a short time we got to spend with them, we still had a blast. It's great when you can reconnect with friends you haven't seen in a while and things are still the same!
A few days later, Katie and her family arrived. I was fairly busy the first part of their visit, and they were busy making a whirlwind tour of Paris. (Luckily Katie was here last summer for over a week, so she knew her way around). We did make time for a picnic in the park, of course, though.
And so ends our visitors until the end of August, but we will keep ourselves entertained until then--trips to the US, Norway, and a few places in France, as well as lots of fun in Paris!
